It describes a local Asian woman (e.g. Chinese, Malay, Indian) who usually dresses and behaves in a provocative manner, and who exclusively dates and prefers white men. This can be considered a variant of the Pinkerton Syndrome. The term first achieved international notoriety after the 1994 publication of Jim Aitchison's book "Sarong Party Girl", which offered a satirical portrayal of the SPG and related aspects of Singaporean culture

Throughout my working career, i came across lots of SPG and SPG wannabe..They will only date and lay their eyes on WHITE..There are 2 types of SPG that we can see,

1) Fugly....they one dat date ang mo cos they r ugly and only ang mo can screw
anything that wears a skirt and lipsticks!!
2) Atas ones... they r the one which thinks that local man are not a good lover
and wanted to marry ang mo,their mission is do or die!!
AFTER THIS 2 CATEGORY ,THERS ARE SEPARATED INTO SOME OTHER SUBS CATEGORY....

I work, mingle and even stay with few ang mo myself and do u know wat they think of our SPG.? To them SPG is someone they F%+# FOR FREE!!! thats wat they think, firstly cos ang mo are stingy and wont pay for sex, so that's y they dun mind.
When u talk to SPG, no matter where they come from,ang mo kio, bishan, penang,sarawak or anywhere else....they speaks with a freaking funny accents, an accents they tot makes them sound and be cool, but by actual fact it sounded like SHIT babe......
They dress differently,walk differently and talk differently....but to me, they are no different from CHINA GAL U SAW WALKING IN GEYLANG..
HEY, its true ...but the major different is that CHINA GAL takes money from these man they with and get screw..BUT SPG pays for the ang mo and still get screwed!!!!DUH
I saw many times when it comes to dinner, the SPG will pays for the ang mo and OMG! these ang mo is not that brad pitt kind of ang mo,they are the kind which cant even hook up gals back in their country and suddenly they become exotic in SG....
