COE.,ERP....CRAZY

haha! very funny lah these people

First the govt wanted people to acquire more cars. This is due to the
fact that the govt
can show to the rest of the world that Singaporeans are actually
affluent and can afford
cars, also these car owners pay road tax, insurance, radio licence,
inspection,
maintenance, parking fees. To some, that's good news, at least you
got the car. And some
jobs are created in the process, e.g. more mechanics needed, more
parking attendants
needed, more administrative staff needed, etc... Next the govt
doesn't want people to
drive their cars. This is due to the fact that if everyone can own a
car and drive it
around, it will lead to massive congestions. So they will build ERP
on every congested
road, no matter what road that is. So eventually, virtually every
roads in Singapore will
have a ERP gantry, or maybe even worse, you pay to drive your car,
that is, they can easy
legislate the law to make it compulsory to charge a car owner when he/
she cranks the
ignition. And they can argue they do it for the sake of saving the
environment, so that
people drive less, people emit less carbon dioxide and sulphur
dioxide into the air. Next
they do it for the sake of the rich. Imagine you bought a Ferrari,
you want to show off
the "Power" of your new machine. Imagine you got stuck in a traffic
jam, that's a
letdown! Next the govt wants to please the corporate leaders, because
these people
provide jobs for Singaporeans. Imagine, a business leader wants to
attend an important
meeting, and he faces the prospect of losing millions of dollars if
he shows up late!
Obviously he won't mind paying 20 or 30 dollars for every trip,
rather than to be late.
Time is money for these people. So if every corner of Singapore is
covered with ERP
gantries, the normal working class people cannot afford to drive, so
they switch to
public transports, so thats the reason why the govt wants to build so
many MRT lines,
because they have predicted the demand already. And of course the MRT
and bus companies
are actually pure monopolies in my opinion, there isn't any real
competition around. So
if everyone is forced to take public transports, the govt can up the
prices if they want
to get more money, and down the prices if they want to secure more
votes in the
elections. These can be done with little effort. So they control the
market prices. So
the main aim here is buy more cars, but for show only. Don't drive
your car, take public
transports. And give the govt all your money. That is my conclusion.

This is how these high paid top leaders think. It goes like this,
When there is a long queue of people queueing up for toilet, instead
of building more
toilets.
Toilet Minister: Erect a pay counter outside toilet, make sure
everybody pays if they
want to use the toilet.
Water Minister: Increase water price, so that people could drink less
water n therefor go
less toilet.
Health Minister: Promote drinking more water as it is good for
health, at the same time
increase medical, hosiptal bill for those will bladder problem.
Money Minister: Get $ from Toilet Minister who made tons of $ from
toilet pay counter, to
lend $ to those people (with high intrest rate), who cannot afford to
pay high medical
bills.
In d end who suffer...? Their citizens of cos. Its either we pay high
water price n go to
toilet or drink less water, than get sick and pay high medical bills.
Lose Lose
situation.
For them? Win Win situation. Enjoy high paid salary robbed from their
poor people...!

AND TO THINK THIS IS THE COUNTRY TAT MANY PPL THINKS IS GOOD TO BE IN....THEY MUST BE KIDDING ......
